"Bookish"
A fine example of the artist's treatment of a semi-abstract rendering of books. Artists who delight in the use of color are always on the lookout for subject matter that provides it. Here, the artist converts the colorful spines of books into a concentric formation producing an almost whimsical design, but nonetheless, a physical possibilty.
"A must-have" in the collections of book worms, librarians, book sellers, publishers, bookbinders and book lovers. The original painted in 1994 art is an acrylic on a panel measuring 48x48 inches and is in the private collection of Mr.& Mrs.G. Mancini.
